Alright, now it’s time to learn some vocabulary related to date and time. This lesson will teach you:

• Specific times
• Months in the Islamic calendar (Hijri months)
• Gregorian calendar

A.1- Days of the week :

اليَوْم		Today

B.Hijri (هِجري) Months:

the year that the Prophet Muhammad undertook the هِجْرَة(hijrah), fleeing a hostile environment in Mecca to take up residence in Yathrib, later Medinah, where he had been invited the year before. This is considered the foundational event in the origins of Islam.
